How can I participate?
You can register at Le Lab Banque de France - Accueil (banque-france.fr) and make sure you confirm your email address. Don't forget to click on "Participate" to receive announcements and notifications about the challenge.
Can I change my details after I have registered for the call for papers ?
To update your data, log in, and go to your participant profile to edit or change your data.
Do I receive updates on the call for papers?
Each time there is an update, you will receive an e-mail notification from the administrator at the e-mail address you have registered. This is only applicable to participants of the call for papers.

Who is this call for contributions open to?
Natural Persons. A natural person aged eighteen (18) and/or legally capable at the time of registration. Only one entry per person will be accepted.
Legal entities. An entity whatever its activity. For companies, the Banque de France may require, at its sole discretion, that they provide proof of (i) their registration in the Trade and Companies Register, by supplying a KBis extract less than three (3) months old, or proof that their registration is in progress, and proof that the company has been set up in the country concerned and (ii) that they have taken out a valid professional insurance policy.
This call for papers is not open to Banque de France and Agorize staff and their family members.

What do I need to submit for the application phase?
For the application phase, you must submit a proposal based on the elements formalized in the specifications and the rules of the call for papers.

What is the application deadline?
The deadline is 26/06/2023 at 23:59 [UTC+1].
What are the evaluation criteria for the preselection phase?
To be eligible, your application must meet the requirements of the regulations and specifications. Your application must be complete.
Eligible applications are then analyzed according to the following criteria:
- Relevance of the application: relevance of the proposed elements to the activities and missions of the Banque de France;
- Quality of the application: summary, highlighting of key elements, benefit/risk analysis;
- Simplicity: ease and speed of implementation of the proposal in the context of an experiment;
- Innovative nature of the solution: use of innovative technologies.
A maximum of 10 applications with the highest scores at the end of the pre-selection stage will go forward to the next selection phase.
How do I know if my application has been shortlisted?
The results of the shortlisted projects will be announced on June 29, 2023. The announcement will be made via the innovation.banque-france.fr platform or by e-mail.
Oral presentation phase

Participants will have the opportunity to ask questions to the administrators of the call for papers throughout the operation.

Do I need to submit anything for the oral presentation phase?
The oral presentation will include the following elements:
- A proposed business use case
- A presentation of the technical and application architecture proposed for experimentation
- A presentation of the Participant
Depending on the Participant's initial application, the Banque de France may ask the Participant to supplement his or her oral presentation with elements necessary for a proper understanding of the Participant's proposal.
What are the criteria for evaluating my application for the oral presentation phase?
The evaluation criteria remain unchanged.

How do I know if my application has been accepted after the presentation to the jury?
Successful candidates will be notified after July 12.
How can I prepare for the presentation?
You'll need to prepare a 20-minute presentation in French. There will also be a 20-minute question-and-answer session for which you can prepare by anticipating the questions that might be asked by the jury.
