How can I participate?
You can register at Le Lab Banque de France - Accueil (banque-france.fr) and make sure you confirm your email address. Don't forget to click on "Participate" to receive announcements and notifications about the challenge.
Can I change my details after registering for the Call for Contributions?
To update your data, log in, and go to your participant profile to edit or change your data.
Do I receive updates on the Call for Contributions?
Each time there is an update, you will receive an e-mail notification from the administrator at the e-mail address you have registered. This is only applicable to the participants of the Call for Contributions.

Application phase
What do I need to submit for the application phase?
For the application phase, you must submit a proposal based on the elements formalized in the specifications and the Rules of the Call for Contributions.
What is the application deadline?
The deadline is 09/22/2024 at 23:55 [Paris time].
What are the evaluation criteria for the preselection phase?
Entries are eligible if they meet all of the following conditions:
- explicitly answers the question posed by the Call for Contributions, and is developed in open-source format;
- Meets the requirements set out in the specifications throughout all phases of the Call for Entries. - In a standard digital format, such as doc, docx, pdf, ppt, odt, (in addition: mp3, mpeg, mov, mp4) with the understanding that no executables are allowed in the file;
- Submitted by Candidates established in the European Union or in a Member State of the Agreement on Call for Contributions Dossier d’appel à candidatures 5 the European Economic Area. Only one entry per Candidate is permitted for the duration of the Call for Submissions;
- The solution developed does not incur any service charges, enabling the Jury to test the solution easily. The use of external services such as Remote Procedure Access Points (APD) like Infura or blockchain explorers like Etherscan is permitted, provided that account creation and use of these services are free of charge, even if access to these services is limited (for example, a restricted number of HTTP requests per minute) ;
- and, in general, comply with the conditions laid down in the Regulations.
Eligible applications will then be analysed according to the following criteria:
#1. compliance with specifications: adequacy of the proposed elements with regard to the expectations of the Call for Contributions
#2. innovative potential: ability to advance blockchain security in the field of smart contracts
3. Appropriateness of the resources to be deployed: adequacy between the project's ambition and the means implemented to achieve it.
A maximum of 10 participants with the highest scores at the end of the pre-selection stage will be eligible for the nexts steps.
How do I know if my application has been shortlisted?
The results of the shortlisted projects will be announced on September, 27 2024. The announcement will be made via the innovation.banque-france.fr platform or by e-mail.
Solution development
If I have any questions, who can I contact?
Participants will have the opportunity to ask questions to the administrators of the Call for Contributions throughout the operation, within the limits specified in the Rules.

How will the final pitch take place?
- 5-minute pitch by the finalists
- 10 minutes Q&A with the Jury and audience
How will my application be assessed in the final pitch phase?
- Content: definition of the need, demonstration of the solution, its benefits and limitations...
- Form: clarity of the presentation, of the solution developed, structuring of the speech...
For each criterion, a score from 1 to 10 is awarded, with 10 being the highest. The pitch score accounts for 60% of the final score.
Incubation
What is CyberBooster?
CyberBooster is the 1st support initiative dedicated to cybersecurity, as part of the national cybersecurity strategy. Their mission is to foster the emergence of European cyber champions.
To achieve this, they bring together the various public and private players in the French ecosystem, and run an intensive, demanding program based on a simple, ambitious promise.
The CyberBooster was launched in December 2021, and more than 30 cybersecurity start-ups have benefited from their support since then.
What does CyberBooster's service involve?
The CyberBooster's 1-year incubation includes :
- 1 day of onboarding at the Cyber Campus
- 5 half-days of thematic coaching by experts (product market fit, marketing, financing, ptich training, etc.)
- Partner meetings
- Integration into the Alumnis network
- Invitations to CyberBoster masterclasses and annual events
